Zelos plays neural amp captures — a real head, a real cabinet, a real microphone in a real room, measured and folded into a model a few hundred kilobytes wide. Load one and you are plugged into that rig. Build a chain around it with gate, tone stack, cabinet impulse and reverb, or press Create Model and capture the amp you already own.
The player is a browser, not a mixer. One model is loaded, and everything on screen tells you what it is: the head and cabinet it was taken from, who captured it, whether the cabinet is baked in, how big the model is, and whether it is ready to pass audio. Step through the library with the arrows, pull new captures with Get Tones, rescan the folder with Refresh.
Zelos ships as a player, not a tone pack — the same way a convolution reverb ships without your rooms in it. Models come from two places: the public NAM libraries, or your own amp.
Get Tones opens TONE3000 inside the plug-in — the largest public library of Neural Amp Modeler captures, with amps, cabinets, pedals, outboard and whole rigs captured by players and engineers. Find one, load it, play it. No browser tab, no zip files, no dragging anything into a models folder.
Models you already keep on disk work exactly the same way — point Zelos at your folder and hit Refresh. Impulse responses too: a capture taken without a cabinet needs one, so load any IR into the cabinet slot and it is done.
Create Model turns Zelos into a capture rig. Send the training signal out of your interface, into the amp, back from the cabinet or the load box, and Zelos trains a model on what came back. Set the amp the way you actually use it, capture it, and that setting is recallable forever — including the pedal in front of it and the room behind it if that is what you sent.
Your captures are files. Keep them private, move them between machines, or share them with the community the same way everyone else's arrived.
Because the capture format is open, a model you download or make today keeps working in any NAM-compatible player — ours or anyone else's. Nothing you collect is stranded in Zelos.
The chain reports 0 samples. Nothing about playing through a modelled amp should feel like playing through a plug-in, and a tracking guitarist notices a handful of samples before they notice anything else.

Tell Zelos what your converter's reference level is and the model gets fed what it expects — which is the difference between a capture that sounds like the amp and one that sounds like the amp turned down.
